Firm Profile

TurnburkeAssociates began in 1993 in Atlanta, Georgia as consultants to SGN+A, a design firm specializing in multi-family housing and commercial work. In 1999, the firm relocated to Nederland, Colorado continuing their relationship with SGN+A, while beginning to grow their practice regionally. This move from an urban environment to a rural mountain area, helped to direct their work towards exploring the relationship between the built environment and the natural world. It also provided the opportunity to be more closely focused on the implementation of their designs.

TurnburkeAssociates has expanded their practice into residential and public design, drawing on their previous professional experience. This has resulted in a synergistic mix of projects, which keep their work fresh and innovative. As licensed landscape architects with nationwide experience, they offer their clients a breadth of experience combined with a high level of involvement insuring the best possible outcome for all their projects.
